Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

FEATURED NEWS WIDGET

An Apostrophe CMS module to provide a block for a piece of news with a faded image background, as well as a description of the news, a date, and a configurable link.

GETTING STARTED

Prerequisites

In order to use this module, you should have:

  • NPM
  • ApostropheCMS

Installing

From within your apostrophe project directory, run npm install --save ec-featured-news

Include widget in projects' app.js file:

  modules: {
    'ec-featured-news': {},
    // ... other modules
}

Configuration

Colors

In css/variables.less, colors are assigned to variable names. These hex values can be edited without impacting the functionality. These values are used to configure the background and content colors of the quote.
