Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Vue component for DEXT5 Editor

RAONWIZ / DEXT5 Vue component for DEXT5 Editor.

Installation and usage

In order to create an component instance in Vue.js, install the dext5editor-vue npm package as a dependency of your project:

npm install dext5editor-vue

After installing, import DEXT5EditorVue to your application:

import Vue from 'vue';
import DEXT5EditorVue from 'dext5editor-vue';

Then use it by calling the Vue.use() method:

Vue.use( DEXT5EditorVue );

new Vue( {
	// ... options
} )

And use the <Dext5Editor /> component in your template:

<template>
	<div id="app">
		<Dext5Editor ></Dext5Editor>
	</div>
</template>

Instead of using ES6 imports, the component can also be added via a direct script include:

<script src="../node_modules/dext5editor-vue/dist/index.umd.production.min.js"></script>

and used in the same way as with ES6 imports:

Vue.use( DEXT5EditorVue );

This Vue integration component must be provided with DEXT5 Editor component through the following site. (You need to sign up for this website):

https://www.dext5.com/page/license/trial.aspx by visiting the site, Request a trial version of DEXT5 Editor.

Install DEXT5 Editor provided via e-mail as follows and run the sample:

Copy to the /samples/basic/src subdirectory.
ex) /samples/basic/src/dext5editor

Browser support

To enable Internet Explorer 11 support, instead of the standard import you need to import a specific dist/index.umd.legacy.production.min.js file containing all required polyfills:

import DEXT5EditorVue from 'dext5editor-vue/dist/index.umd.legacy.production.min.js'

Contributing

After cloning this repository, install necessary dependencies:

npm install

Building the package

Build a minified version of the package that is ready to be published:

npm run build
