Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that the following are installed on your system:

Installation

To install DevGenie globally on your system, execute the following command in your terminal:

npm install -g devgenie

This command will install DevGenie globally, making it accessible from any directory on your system.

Usage

  4. Follow the prompts to choose your project type (web app, mobile app, or desktop app). DevGenie will guide you through the selection process and automatically set up the appropriate template in your directory.

Project Setup

Once DevGenie has created your project template, you need to install the necessary dependencies. You can do this using either npm or Yarn. Follow the steps below:

  1. Change to your project directory:

  2. Install the project dependencies using your preferred package manager:

    npm install

    Using Yarn:

    yarn install
