Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

detrzip

A cli wrapper around bitgenics/deterministic-zip. Produces determinstic zip files based on content.

Usage

❯ npx detrzip --help
detrzip.js <zipfile> <directory>

create a deterministic zip

Positionals:
  zipfile    the name of the zipfile to create                          [string]
  directory  directory to include in the archive                        [string]

Options:
  --version   Show version number                                      [boolean]
  --help      Show help                                                [boolean]
  --includes  list of file patterns to include in archive
                                                     [array] [default: ["./**"]]
  --excludes  list of file patterns to exclude from archive
  [array] [default: [".git","CVS",".svn",".hg",".lock-wscript",".wafpickle-N","*
                                       .swp",".DS_Store","._*","npm-debug.log"]]
