Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

DeezNodes

DeezNodes is a simple, light-weight, Node server companion that automatically restarts your server on file save. This is my first CLI app that I developed while learning JavaScript, I wanted to build something that I could use.

Installation

npm i deeznodes

or

npm i deeznodes --save-dev //install as development dependency

Usage

As of v1.0.0, DeezNodes has 2 features

  • Automatic Restarts
  • Manual Restarts

DeezNodes will run your app and listen for changes. You can start your server with

deeznodes [yourApp.js]

If using DeezNodes in a development enviornment, include it as a script in package.json

  "scripts": {
    "devStart": "deeznodes [yourApp.js]"
  },

To manually restart your server, use rs
