Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A tool to help in building simple, declarative, cross-platform UIs.

The Why

  • Allows for full stack developers to work with UI, without knowing the nuances.
  • Enables Frontend developers to focus on structure and style, instead of wiring things up and writing boilerplate code.

Installation

npm install declair

Keys

  • Most properties are common across components, even when unused, so to reduce complexity.

Notes

  • Tests wouldn't be written, until the structure reaches some stability.
  • MobX is preferred over react state hooks, for it's simplicity.

sh ./setup.sh

ToDo

  • Try to use classes, instead of object patching, to allow for future contributions.
  • Decide on the state providers between MobX and ReactHooks.
  • Straighten the circumventions for importing reactive-router-native.
