Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

css-breakpoints

css-breakpoints is a simple yet powerful Node.js package designed to automate the process of injecting CSS breakpoints into your stylesheets. Eliminate the repetitive task of manually adding breakpoints to every CSS file in your project.

Installation

Install the package using npm to use it from the command line

  npm install css-breakpoints

Usage/Examples

Once installed, you can run the package from your terminal.

Inject breakpoints into a single CSS file

npx css-breakpoints src/components/login/Login.css

Inject breakpoints into all CSS files in a directory

npx css-breakpoints src/components

or

npx css-breakpoints src

Inject breakpoints into more than one directory or file

npx css-breakpoints src/components/login src/index.css

NOTE: YOU MUST PROVIDE PATH OF THE DIRECTORY OR FILE FROM THE ROOT OF THE PROJECT

The tool will automatically scan the given file or directory, injecting breakpoints if they don’t already exist.
