Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Create Wasmify React

A boilerplate tool to generate a React application pre-configured with WebAssembly (WASM) support.

Quick Overview

To create a new project with Create Wasmify React, run the following commands:

npx create-wasmify-react my-app
cd my-app
npm start

This will create a new React project with WebAssembly (WASM) support ready to use. You can then start building your app immediately!


Framework Structure

When you create a new project using Create Wasmify React, you will get the following directory structure:

  • public/: Contains the static assets like the HTML file and favicon.
  • src/: Main directory for React components and WebAssembly modules.
    • wasm/go: Directory to store the .go files.
    • hooks/useWASM.js: React hook that imports the WebAssembly modules.
  • .gitignore: Files and folders ignored by Git.
  • package.json: Contains project dependencies and scripts.
