Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

create-insomnia-plugin

An opionated bootstrapper for Insomnia REST Client plugins and themes

Usage

Getting started is simple, just run npx create-insomnia-plugin <package-name> and complete the prompts

Options

-t, --theme - Use theme template

-s, --simple - Use simple template

-c, --complex - Use complex template

-p, --plugins-path [path] - Specify path to Insomnia app plugins folder

Scripts

Each template has built in scripts to simplify the development process, as well as to ensure high quality code

npm run lint - Runs eslint

npm run lint:fix Runs eslint, but fixes problems where possible

npm run format - Runs prettier, makes changes

Contributing

Pull requests are welcome. For major changes, please open an issue first to discuss what you would like to change.

Please make sure to update tests as appropriate.
