FlexEx 🚀
FlexEx is a flexible and easy-to-use boilerplate for creating Chrome extensions with support for React, Vue, and plain JavaScript. FlexEx uses Vite, the lightning-fast build tool for modern web development, to power its development environment.

Installation
To use FlexEx, follow these simple steps:
Create a new project:
npm create flexex your-project-name
Navigate to your project directory:
cd your-project-name
Install dependencies:
npm install
Usage
Generate Build:
npm run build
This command will generate a build inside the
dist
folder. Alternatively, you can usenpm run dev
, which watches for changes and automatically creates a build on every change.Load your extension in Chrome:
- Open Chrome browser.
- Go to
chrome://extensions/
(Make sure you have enabled Developer mode). - Click on "Load unpacked" button.
- Select the
build
directory inside your project.
Now you're all set to start coding your Vue extension! 🎉
