How to start the project

This project is made to allow you to have your own template generator locally for your react projects and be a light weight environment to get comfortable with REACT and SASS.

To start

1. run npm i -g big-poppa-code-react-starter in your commandline and the lets-code command will will be added globally onto your computer
2. from the command line run lets-code in the parent folder that you desire the project to be in. i.e. if you put your projects in a projects folder run lets-code in your projects directory
3. You will be prompted to confirm you want to build a react project, confirm that by choosing get started or quit by pressing CTRL + C.
4. You will the be prompted to choose a project name, this will be the name of the directory your project is built in.
5. After choosing the project name, You will then see some terminal output while the template is copied and npm install and npm audit are ran in the background. (note you don't have to install the packages they are added by default)
6. Once the project is built you will see any npm output, including vulnerabilities, and instructions on how to start your project.
7. cd into your project from the commandline and Feel awesome

Big Poppa Code React Starter Kit

This Starter Kit is being created for New Web Developers that want to get started with react

Most people use a CLI Tool like Vue-Cli or Create React App and no idea what these things are doing

The goal of this is for it to be a tool that let's you learn JS at a new level because you have access to everything under the hood and no opinionated set up

I will base all my tutorials on this Starter Kit.

I am Arthur Bernier Jr. I work as freelance fullstack web developer and attraction marketing consultant specializing in supporting e-commerce brands, subscription box sites, social activists, religious/non-profit leaders and creative entrepreneurs(i.e. barbers, artists, musicians, stylists, models and photographers). I have a passion for helping entrepreneurs reach their perfect audience and helping you communicate to that audience in a way that makes them know, like and trust you. Install Gulp Globally

npm i -g gulp-cli

Start the dev server

npm run dev

or

yarn dev

Build files for production

yarn build

or

npm run build

Deploy for production script

npm start

or

yarn start

Instructions to run starter kit on any backend
