Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

To integrate CpyClip into your workflow, follow these steps:

Local Installation

For projects where local dependency management is preferred, install CpyClip using npm:

npm i cpyclip

On-the-Fly Execution

For immediate use without committing to a permanent installation, leverage npx:

npx cpyclip <filepath>

Replace <filepath> with the path to the file you wish to copy.

Usage

Basic Usage

To copy the content of a file to your clipboard, execute the following command:

cpyclip <filepath>

Ensure <filepath> is replaced with the actual path to the file you intend to copy.

Examples

  • To copy the contents of a text file named example.txt, run:
        cpyclip example.txt
  • To copy the contents of a script file located at /path/to/script.js, execute:
        cpyclip /path/to/script.js

Requirements

  • Node.js (v14.x or later recommended).
