Example Cycle.js counter demo with parts not covered by test coverage removed
I made single Cycle.js application bundle, then ran it through code coverage proxy was-tested then removed functions that were unused. This eliminated some JavaScript and made bundle loading faster.
Demo at glebbahmutov.com/covered-cycle-example, read the blog post Not tested - not included!.
The difference in timing when browser loads original minified bundle vs bundle with unused code removed (160ms vs 100ms)
Difference in bundle sizes (use ls -lh dist
)
Minified bundle: 199KB vs 141KB
gzipped file: 50KB vs 38KB
Small print
