Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Commit Reviewer

Commit Reviewer is a CLI tool designed to assist with reviewing code changes. It provides a convenient way to review staged changes, generate a folder structure from Git, and read the README file of your project.

Installation

To install Commit Reviewer, you need to have Node.js and npm installed on your machine. Then, you can install the tool globally with:

npm install -g commit-reviewer

Usage

You can start using Commit Reviewer by running the following command in your terminal:

commit-reviewer -b <against-branch>

This will start the tool and it will begin reviewing your staged changes against the specified branch.

Development

To build the project, run the following command:

npm run build

To start the project in development mode, run:

npm run start
