Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

chat-sphere

chat-sphere is a Node.js package that provides a backend server for real-time chat applications using Express.js and Socket.IO.

Installation

You can install the chat-sphere package via npm or yarn:

npm install chat-sphere

or

yarn add chat-sphere

Usage

To use chat-sphere in your Node.js application, you can import the chat-sphere class and start the server:

const chat-sphere = require('chat-sphere');

const chatServer = new chat_sphere();
const port = 3000; // Choose any available port

chatServer.start(port);

Once the server is running, your clients can connect to it using Socket.IO on the frontend.
