Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Chain-CLI

Chain-CLI is a library that allows you to automatically generate code for frontend projects, streamlining the development process.

Features

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (version X.X.X) installed on the system.

Chain-CLI is specifically designed to be used with Next.js and React.js, so it requires both frameworks to be installed in your development environment.

  • React.js (version X.X.X)
  • Next.js (version X.X.X)

Installation

  1. Open a terminal in your frontend project.
  2. Run the following command to install the library:
yarn add chain-cli
or
npm install chain-cli
  1. Once installed, you can run the command:
yarn generate
or
npm run generate
  1. Follow the interactive prompts to select the generator and customize the parameters. Right now, you can generate:

  2. Once completed, the generated code will be automatically added to your project at the specified location.
