Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Caldera Forms Documentation Search

Install

  • git clone [email protected]:CalderaWP/caldera-forms-docs-search.git
  • cd caldera-forms-docs-search npm install

Development

  • npm run start

Deploy

  • npm run deploy

IMPORTANT : Right now, deployment will break the embedded version on CalderaForms.com for 0-599 seconds.

Solutions:

  • Figure out how to make the url for the js file not dynamic, that way CalderaForms.com wouldn't have to query/cache manifest file.
  • Increment CALDERA_FORMS_CHILD_THEME_VERSION in the child theme and do a complete deploy through Pantheon.
  • Not worry too hard, since Pantheon should be serving a cached version. Still...
