Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

CBR - CBR book reader

Utility for .cbr file handling.

Installation

Module can be installed locally in a project using npm like following:

npm install --save cbr

Use in Command line

You may install the module globally via:

npm install -g cbr

After that, the application can be used like any other terminal command

Usage: cbr [source.cbr] {OPTIONS}

Standard Options:
    --output, -o  Destination folder of all the images.
                  If unspecified, cbr extracts comics in ./temp.

     --debug, -d  Allows users to see what is happening through each point in the process (not yet implemented)

      --help, -h  Shows the help menu

Use in program

Use of this utility is straightforward.

cbr(argv._[0], function(error, out) {
  if (error) {
    // Deal with error here
  }
  // Successfully extracted images into ./temp
}

Third-party contributions

Unrar binary executables for supported platforms, created by Rarlabs are shipped with this non-profit module. Please note that the ASCII art of the RAR logo has been omited as it was messing up formatting on browser.

The UnRAR sources may be used in any software to handle RAR
archives without limitations free of charge, but cannot be used
to re-create the RAR compression algorithm, which is proprietary.
Distribution of modified unRAR sources in separate form or as a
part of other software is permitted, provided that it is clearly
stated in the documentation and source comments that the code may
not be used to develop a RAR (WinRAR) compatible archiver.
