the season pass also includes a two-week-long blackout multiplayer mode, featuring a new playlist of three maps designed for call of duty: black ops players that have been social distancing. each team can only have five active players online at once, and players must play the entire round. the blackout playlist is also capped to eight rounds. 


while the season pass isn’t that exciting when compared to its free item, the season pass includes a bunch of in-game items. the first is the 2018 cod black ops season pass emblem, which will be awarded to all players who pre-purchase the season pass. there’s also the black ops 4 season pass call of duty league theme, which will be available to all black ops 4 players. all four of the blackout maps are also marked with the call of duty league logo to show players that they’re still part of the league.


if you’re looking to dive into the black ops multiplayer community, then there are a few things to keep in mind. first, in call of duty: black ops, the competitive playlist is no longer available. it’s been replaced by the blackout “gods and monsters” playlist.


the long awaited update for infinity ward’s black ops 4 operation zombies mode is here, with the fully implemented hallow’s end event. this mode has been running on a closed beta version for the last couple of months now, and i’m sure many of you have been playing it. we went hands-on with the new mode when the game was announced at e3, and you can read our impressions there. but, as i said, the final version of this mode is here, and i have been playing it for the last two weeks now. this is a tough mode, and i can see the potential it has to be a very fun-filled mode, and i have high hopes for it. 84d34552a1
