Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bweb3.js - Web3.js for Btcbam

Bweb3 is a library for dApps to interract with the Btcbam blockchain. bweb3 communicates to a Btcbam node via the provider provided.

Get Started

Run the following in your project folder:

npm install bweb3 --save

Web Dapp Usage

This is example is meant for web dapps who would like to use Bweb3's convenience methods with BtcbamMask's RPC provider. BtcbamMask is a Btcbam wallet Chrome extension. More details about BtcbamMask here.

1. Construct Bweb3 instance

If you have BtcbamMask installed, you will have a window.btcbamMask object injected in your browser tab. Pass that into Bweb3 as a parameter to set the provider.

2. Construct Contract instance

The Contract class is meant for executing sendtocontract or callcontract at a specific contract address with a given ABI.

3. Get Logged In BtcbamMask Account

To get the current logged in account in BtcbamMask, you will have to add an Event Listener to listen to messages sent from BtcbamMask.

4. Execute sendtocontract

The last piece is to execute a sendtocontract on your Contract instance. This will automatically show a BtcbamMask popup to confirm that you would like to send the transaction.

The provider is the link between Bweb3 and the blockchain. A compatible Bweb3 Provider adheres to the following interface:

Running Tests

You need to create a .env file in the root folder with the following variables in the following formats. Change it to how your environment is setup.
