Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Assert

Stability: stable.

Featherwight assert function for the browser and node designed to work with browserify.

Install

npm i browser-assert --save

Developer

Developer workflow is via gulp but should be executed as npm scripts to enable shell execution where necessary.

Test

Run the headless test suite using phantomjs:

npm test

To run the tests in a browser context open test/index.html or use the server npm start.

Start

Serve the test files from a web server with:

npm start

Cover

Run the test suite and generate code coverage:

npm run cover

Lint

Run the source tree through eslint:

npm run lint

Clean

Remove generated files:

npm run clean

Spec

Compile the test specifications:

npm run spec

Instrument

Generate instrumented code from lib in instrument:

npm run instrument

Readme

Generate the project readme file (requires mdp):

npm run readme
