  • browser.tabs.query();
  • browser.tabs.sendMessage();
  • browser.tabs.update();
• browser.storage.<storageArea> (storage permission required, Firefox, Chrome):
  • browser.storage.<storageArea>.clear();
  • browser.storage.<storageArea>.get();
  • browser.storage.<storageArea>.getBytesInUse();
  • browser.storage.<storageArea>.remove();
  • browser.storage.<storageArea>.set().
