Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Bever

Bever is simply your best buddy to take the hassel of updating the build versions and do it super fast and super easy!

Features

  • Updates build numbers and version names with option to select between updating either
  • Commits the updates to current branch and pushes them to remote if given the permission

Installation

Bever requires Node.js to run.

Install bever as global dependency.

npm i -g bever

Usage

For updating the build numbers, committing them and then pushing them to remote, use

bever deploy

For only updating the version code and version name, just use

bever update

You can pass -b flag for only updating the version codes

For commiting the changes to current branch with customized message of format Updated build numbers for [current branch]

bever commit

You can also specify your message for the commit by passing -m flag. For more info on usage

bever --help
