Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

AWS 1Password Authentication helper

Installation

Should be as simple as npm i -g aws-op

Usage

aws-op will look in your 1password accounts for items with the tag aws and then prompt you to select one. It will then use the aws_access_key_id and aws_secret_access_key fields to set the appropriate environment variables for the AWS CLI. If you have a region field it will also set that along with using an MFA token if you have one. Make sure to set the mfa_serial field to the ARN of your MFA device.
