Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

assemble-middleware-download NPM version

Assemble plugin for downloading files from GitHub.

Upgrade notice! v0.2.0 or greater of this plugin depend on Assemble v0.5.0. This plugin will not work with Assemble v0.4.0!`

Quickstart

In the command line, run:

npm install assemble-middleware-download --save

Next, to register the plugin with Assemble in your project's Gruntfile you can either specify the direct path to the plugin(s) (e.g. ./path/to/plugins/*.js), or if installed via npm, make sure the plugin is in the devDependencies of your project.js package.json, and simply add the module's name to the plugins option:

    plugins: ['assemble-middleware-download', 'other/plugins/*.js']

Type: String Default: assemble/handlebars-helpers

Repo from which to download files.

dest

Type: String Default: tmp/

Destination for the downloaded files.

files

Type: Array Default: ['docs/helpers.zip']

Paths the file or files to download.
