Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This is a command-line interface (CLI) application, allows users to display ASCII art images of various things. The application is written in JavaScript and can be installed globally using npm.

Prerequisites

Make sure you have Node.js and npm (Node Package Manager) installed on your machine. You can download them from https://nodejs.org/.

Installation

Install artart globally using the following command:

npm i -g artart

Usage

To display an ASCII art image of an animal, open your terminal and run the following command:

artart [add_name]

Replace [add_name] with the name of the animal you want to see, such as "cat," "dog," or "bunny."

Example -

artart dog

Output -

If you ever want to uninstall artart, you can use the following command:

npm uninstall -g artart
