Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

I made this tool to make the command line a little more fun and useful. It's a collection of small utilities that I use often. I hope you find it useful too. It's in its early stages, so there's not much to see here yet.

fun fact: "aoi" means "blue" in Japanese

Installation

npm install -g aoi-cli

// or
yarn global add aoi-cli

// or
pnpm install -g aoi-cli

Usage

$ aoi <command> <subcommand> [options]

  Commands
    online   Check if you're online
    ip       Get your IP address
    system   Get your system information
    battery  Get your battery information
    catfact  Get a random cat fact
    locate   Locate yourself or the International Space Station on a map
              $ aoi locate
              $ aoi locate me (default)
              $ aoi locate iss

  Options
    --detailed, -d  Get extra information
