Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Looking for maintainer

I have switched from Angular to React and in a process to convert all my forms to react-schema-form

It looks like there are still users for this Angular add-on and I am wondering if someone wants to take over the ownership to maintain this module. Thanks.

ui-ace add-on

This ui-ace add-on uses as the name implies the ui-ace plugin to provide a ace editor for schema form. ace as well as ui-ace is used.

ace is highly customizable and this add-on takes an options object via aceOptions in the form. More info below at Options.

Installation

The editor is an add-on to the Bootstrap decorator. To use it, just include bootstrap-ui-ace.min.js after dist/bootstrap-decorator.min.js.

Easiest way is to install is with bower, this will also include dependencies:

$ bower install angular-schema-form-ui-ace

You'll need to load a few additional files to use the editor:

Be sure to load this projects files after you load angular schema form

  1. Angular
  2. The ace source file
  3. The ui-ace source file
  4. Angular Schema Form
  5. The Angular Schema Form Tinymce files (this project)
  6. Translation files for whatever language you want to use (optional) Documentation

Example

<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/angular/angular.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/angular-sanitize/angular-sanitize.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/ace-builds/src-min-noconflict/ace.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/angular-ui-ace/ui-ace.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/angular-schema-form/schema-form.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/bower_components/angular-schema-form-ui-ace/bootstrap-ui-ace.js"></script>

Usage

The tinymce add-on adds a new form type, wysiwyg, and a new default mapping.

| Form Type | Becomes | |:---------------|:------------:| | ace | a ace widget |

| Schema | Default Form type | |:-------------------|:------------:| | "type": "string" | ace |

Options

The ace form takes one option, aceOptions. This is an object with any and all options availible to ace. A full list of these can be found here.

Example

This example replaces the standard toolbar with one we choose.

{
  "key": "content",
  "aceOptions": {
  	useWrapMode : true,
  	showGutter: false,
  	theme:'twilight',
  	mode: 'xml',
  	firstLineNumber: 5
  	onLoad: aceLoaded,
  	onChange: aceChanged
  }
},
