Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

npm npm Snyk Vulnerabilities for npm package Snyk Vulnerabilities for GitHub Repo

This package allows you to print beautiful console.log.

This console.log is used by companies that leave messages on the console of websites for when the user inspects a page, stating some precautions or even rewards.

Config

The lib instance accepts two parameters (not optional):

  • type: Type of Title
  • config: Configuration of console.log
new MagicConsole(type, config)

Type

It is the first parameter that must be passed, it accepts the following values:

  • normal
  • bold
  • background
  • rainbow
new MagicConsole('background', config)

// other example

new MagicConsole('rainbow', config)

The default value is normal.

Config (configuration)

It is the second parameter that must be passed, it accepts the following properties:

  • title: The company name or a word of attention is usually defined.
  • titleConfig: This property is an object with two required properties (color and size) and two optional properties (background and shadow).
    • The background property is used for the background type.
    • The shadow property is used for the rainbow type, the shadow expects to receive an array with seven colors.
  • text: It is used to inform something.
  • hasLink: Accepts true or false, if set to true we can set the link property.
  • link: If the previous property was set to true, we can set this. This property is an object with two required properties, text and link. Text is the text that references the link.

OBS: The values of the properties contained in titleConfig are css, so it is possible to define colors and backgrounds in HEX, RGB or transparent.

const config = {
  title: 'Rainbow Type',
  titleConfig: {
  color: '#ffffff',
    size: '50px',
    background: 'transparent',
    shadow: [
      'rgb(217,31,38)',
      'rgb(226,91,14)',
      'rgb(245,221,8)',
      'rgb(5,148,68)',
      'rgb(2,135,206)',
      'rgb(4,77,145)',
      'rgb(42,21,113)',
    ],
  },
