Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Victron Energy Nodes for Node-RED

Node palette

Custom Node-RED nodes for Victron Energy products. Makes it easy to create automations for Victron systems.

npm version

Quick Start

The recommended way to use these nodes is through Venus OS Large, where they come pre-installed with Node-RED.

For manual installation and advanced setup, see our Installation Guide.

Available Nodes

Input Nodes

Input nodes allow you to read data from your Victron devices:

  • Device selector with available Victron equipment
  • Measurement selector showing available data points
  • Custom labeling options

Output Nodes

Output nodes let you control Victron devices:

  • Device selector
  • Measurement selector (showing writable services)
  • Initial value settings
  • Custom labeling options

Virtual Devices

Create simulated Victron devices on the dbus:

  • Grid meter
  • Meteo
  • Tank sensor
  • Temperature sensor
