Install
This project requires Node.js >=10.13 (see Support & Release Policy). Install it using yarn or npm. We highly recommend to use Yarn when you think to contribute to this project.
$ yarn add @tunnckocore/babel-preset
Usage
By default this preset is just a mirror of babel-preset-optimise, inheriting its options.
For example, in case you use Jest for testing you can do something like the
following babel.config.js
:
module.exports =
process.env.NODE_ENV === 'test'
? { presets: ['@tunnckocore/babel-preset', { modules: true }] }
: process.env.NODE_ENV === 'build-esm'
? { presets: ['@tunnckocore/babel-preset'] }
: { presets: ['@tunnckocore/babel-preset', { modules: 'commonjs' }] };
Which will mean that it will a) convert ESM to CJS modules in testing
environment, b) do not convert ES Modules on build-esm
env, and c) same as 1
in other cases.
Passing non falsey (true or whatever, e.g. 'commonjs'
) value to modules
option means it will convert ESM to CJS.
