Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

node-trn

To-Increase Resource Names (TRNs) uniquely identify our resources. We require an TRN when you need to specify a resource unambiguously across our platform, such as in Machines, Companies and Persons.

TRN Format

Here are some sample TRNs:

The following are the general formats for TRNs; the specific components and values used depend on the resource type.

trn:company-id:resourcetype:resource-id
trn:company-id:resourcetype:resource-id/subtype

company-id

The company that owns the resource.

resourcetype

The type of the resource. Currently the following types are supported:

  • machine
  • company
  • person

resource-id

the unique id of the resource.

subtype

The content of this part of the TRN varies by resource type. examples:
