The namespace contains the following distribution functions:
cdf( x, mu )
: degenerate distribution cumulative distribution function.logcdf( x, mu )
: degenerate distribution logarithm of cumulative distribution function.logpdf( x, mu )
: degenerate distribution logarithm of probability density function (logPDF).logpmf( x, mu )
: evaluate the natural logarithm of the probability mass function (PMF) for a degenerate distribution.mgf( t, mu )
: degenerate distribution moment-generating function (MGF).pdf( x, mu )
: degenerate distribution probability density function (PDF).pmf( x, mu )
: degenerate distribution probability mass function (PMF).quantile( p, mu )
: degenerate distribution quantile function.
The namespace contains the following functions for calculating distribution properties:
entropy( mu )
: degenerate distribution entropy.mean( mu )
: degenerate distribution expected value.median( mu )
: degenerate distribution median.mode( mu )
: degenerate distribution mode.stdev( mu )
: degenerate distribution standard deviation.variance( mu )
: degenerate distribution variance.
The namespace contains a constructor function for creating a degenerate distribution object.
Degenerate( [mu] )
: degenerate distribution constructor.
Examples
var objectKeys = require( '@stdlib/utils-keys' );
var degenerate = require( '@stdlib/stats-base-dists-degenerate' );
console.log( objectKeys( degenerate ) );
Notice
This package is part of stdlib, a standard library for JavaScript and Node.js, with an emphasis on numerical and scientific computing. The library provides a collection of robust, high performance libraries for mathematics, statistics, streams, utilities, and more.
