Test if a value is a UNC path.
Installation
To use as a general utility, install the CLI package globally
npm install -g @stdlib/assert-is-unc-path-cli
Usage
Usage: is-unc-path [options] [<path>]
Options:
-h, --help Print this message.
-V, --version Print the package version.
--split sep Delimiter for stdin data. Default: '/\\r?\\n/'.
Examples
$ is-unc-path '\\\\server\\share\\foo'
true
To use as a standard stream,
$ echo -n '\\\\server\\share\\foo' | is-unc-path
true
By default, when used as a standard stream, the implementation assumes newline-delimited data. To specify an alternative delimiter, set the split
option.
$ echo -n '\\\\server\\share\\foo'\t/foo/../bar' | is-unc-path --split '\t'
true
false
