rendertron-middleware
An Express middleware for Rendertron Rendertron is a server which runs headless Chrome and renders web pages on the fly, which can be set up to serve pages to search engines, social networks and link rendering bots.
This middleware checks the User-Agent header of incoming requests, and if it matches one of a configurable set of bots, proxies that request through Rendertron.
Usage
$ npm install --save express skg-rendertron-middleware
const express = require('express');
const rendertron = require('@skg-global/rendertron-middleware');
const app = express();
app.use(rendertron.makeMiddleware({
proxyUrl: 'http://my-rendertron-instance/render',
}));
app.use(express.static('files'));
app.listen(8080);
Configuration
The makeMiddleware
