Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Why @simwai/utils?

@simwai/utils is designed with simplicity in mind. It provides essential logging and retry mechanisms that are commonly needed in many projects, saving you the time and effort of reimplementing these functionalities repeatedly. With a clean and minimal API, it's easy to integrate and use in your projects without unnecessary complexity.

Browser Compatibility

@simwai/utils is primarily designed for Node.js environments. While the ConsoleLogger can work in modern browsers, the FileLogger is not suitable for browser use due to file system access restrictions. The Retry mechanism is compatible with both Node.js and browser environments.

Install

Install the utils library in your project:

npm install @simwai/utils

Usage

Utilize the Console Logger:
