The Kendo UI for Angular Gauges package provides a set of data-visualization components for building common gauge types—arc, circular, linear and radial.
What's Included in the Angular Gauges Package
- Angular ArcGauge Component—Represents a value across a semicircle arc shape. This component uses a colored arc instead of an arrow pointer which leaves its center free for implementing a user-defined center template.
- Angular CircularGauge Component—Represents a value within a full-circle arc. This gauge type is very similar to the Kendo UI for Angular ArcGauge and supports a similar set of features.
- Angular LinearGauge Component—Displays values on a linear scale, represented as bars or pointers along with tick lines and labels to provide additional context.
- Angular RadialGauge Component—Displays values on a circular arc with a centralized pointer that indicates the current value.
Key Features
Among the many features which the Kendo UI for Angular Gauges deliver are:
- Scale Options—All Gauges components provide configuration options for customizing their scales and allow you, for example, to change the appearance of their labels and ticks, set their ranges, and more.
- Export Options—The Gauges provide a set of built-in options for Image, PDF, and SVG export resulting in Base64-encoded files which can be sent to a service or saved on the client.
- Rendering Modes—The Gauges support two modes for rendering—Canvas (bitmap) and SVG (vector graphics). Their default rendering mode is SVG but can be modified through a specific attribute that the Gauges provide.
- Appearance—The color and style of the Gauges are normally picked up by the current Kendo UI theme, but each aspect of the Gauges can be customized by theme variables or configuration options.
- Globalization—The Kendo UI for Angular Gauges support globalization to ensure that each component can fit well in any application, no matter what languages and locales need to be supported. Additionally, the Gauges support rendering in a right-to-left (RTL) direction.
