Copy JSON Path
Brackets Extension that allows to copy the JSON path (e.g. level0.level1.level2
) from current cursor position.
Installation
Use the built-in Brackets Extension Manager for downloading and installing this extension. Search for brackets-copy-json-path
and click on Install.
Usage
Open or create a JSON file and use one of the following ways to copy the JSON path from current cursor position:
- Use shortcut
Ctrl-Alt-C
(Windows/Linux) /Cmd-Shift-C
(Mac) - Right click on text position and select Copy JSON path
- Use main menu: Edit -> Copy JSON path
If document contains valid JSON then the current path is copied to clipboard.; if it's not the clipboard is not modified.
