Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

PerceptUI CLI

Percept CLI is a command-line tool for initializing projects with predefined templates. It simplifies the setup process by providing ready-to-use starter templates, allowing developers to focus on building applications instead of spending time on configuration.

Installation

Install the CLI globally using npm:

npm install -g @perceptui/cli  

Or run without installation:

npx @perceptui/cli

Usage

Commands

  1. Initialize a project: Create a new project with specific template:
percept-cli create <project-name> --template <template-name> [--path <path>]  
  • project-name: Name of the project.
  • --template, -t: Name of the template to use.
  • --path, -p: Optional path where the project should be created (default: current directory).
percept-cli create my-app --template vite-react-tailwind  
  1. List Available Templates: Display all predefined templates:
percept-cli list

The CLI comes with the following templates by default:

  • vite-react-tailwind
    • Description: Vite + React + Tailwind CSS starter template.
    • Repository: vite-react-tailwind-template
