Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

font2jscad

Converts truetype fonts or woff fonts to jscad files. These files can than be included in OpenJSCad. This is a temporal solution, to include fonts for @ojsc/opentype.jscad. When OpenJSCad V2 is available this package becomes abolete.

To be clear: The generated myfont.jscad must be used with @ojsc/opentype.jscad.

Usage

cloned from git

example:
font2jscad.js -f font.ttf

Options:
  --font, -f                                                          [required]
  --out, -o         name outputfile,
                    default it is the same name as the input filename with the
                    extension changed to .jscad
  --standalone, -s  This will be the name in the "global" scope,
                    default will be "lowercasefontname_ttf_data" (or
                    lowercasefontname_woff_data)
  --version         Show version number                                [boolean]

using npm

npm i -D @ojsc/font2jscad to get script installed. Use npx font2jscad -f fontname.ttf to convert a font.

or install global: sudo npm i -g @ojsc/font2jscad
