Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Aws Environment Developer Notes

If you are locally testing you can customize the cli by setting these ENV variables:

  • AWS_SSO_START_URL
    • This is the aws sso start url (https://<ACCT_SPECIFIC_INFO_HERE>.awsapps.com/start#/)
  • AWS_PROFILE
    • The name of the AWS_PROFILE to use (<ACCT_NAME>__<ROLE_NAME>)
  • ENVIRONMENT_CLOUDFORMATION_DIR
    • The local path to the cloudformation templates that represent this AWS environment

AWS Environment TODOs

  1. Add support for Parameters with AllowedPattern
    • Currently the AllowedPattern does not come in the response from the getTemplateSummary call
    • I added support issue https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-js/issues/2519 to the git repo, asking for help
