Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Installation

Method-1 via NPX [Recommended]:

To create a project without installing it, execute the following command.

Creating project

npx @mohaimin95/node-ts-generator init appnamehere

Installing dependencies

cd appnamehere && git init && npm i

Method-2 via NPM:

Install the package using the command below.

Installation

npm i -g @mohaimin95/node-ts-generator

Creating the project

Create a project folder and generate the application using the command below

node-ts-generator init appnamehere

Installing dependencies

cd appnamehere && git init && npm i

🔥 Congratulations, you have created a node backend project with Typescript, ESLint, Prettier, Webpack and husky precommit hooks preconfigured.

What's next?

  1. Install all dependencies using cd appnamehere && git init && npm i.
  2. Start your application in development mode using npm run dev.

For the cleaner dependencies install

  • Run npm run install:clean.

Husky is not executable?

  • Run chmod 777 .husky/*.

Starting application in development mode

npm run dev

Building the application

npm run build

Starting application in production mode

npm run build && npm start
