jupyterlab-markup

Adds additional rendering support to markdown in JupyterLab by using markdown-it, and the following plugins:

• markdown-it-diagrams
• markdown-it-footnote
• markdown-it-deflist

Prerequisites

• JupyterLab

Installation

Ensure mimetype exists for wasm:

echo "application/wasm      wasm" | sudo tee -a /etc/mime.types

Install extension:

jupyter labextension install @agoose77/jupyterlab-markup

You will need to reinstall the extension if you do these steps out of order.

Development

For a development install (requires npm version 4 or later), do the following in the repository directory:

npm install
npm run build
jupyter labextension link .

To rebuild the package and the JupyterLab app:

npm run build
jupyter lab build
