Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Slider UI component for React

NPM version build status Test coverage gemnasium deps node version npm download

Why this fork?

I had to create a slider like the following:

For the original package please go to the original repo.

How to recreate the slider above:

import React from 'react';
import ReactDOM from 'react-dom';
import Slider from '@mateioprea/rc-slider';
// We can just import Slider or Range to reduce bundle size
// import Slider from 'rc-slider/lib/Slider';
// import Range from 'rc-slider/lib/Range';
import 'rc-slider/assets/index.css';

ReactDOM.render(
  <div>
    <Slider
        heightFactor={0.5}
        minimumHeight={8}
        dotStyle={{
            "border-radius": "0%",
            width: "1px",
            border: "1px solid #e9e9e9",
            bottom: "0px",
        }}
        activeDotStyle={{
            borderColor: '#2eb2a3'
        }}
        railStyle={{
            background: 'transparent'
        }}
        trackStyle={{
            background: 'transparent'
        }}
        handleStyle={{
            'background-color': '#2eb2a3',
            'border': 'none'
        }}
        dots={true}
    />
  </div>,
  container
);

Added API

The following APIs are added to Slider

| Name | Type | Default | Description | | ------------ | ------- | ------- | ----------- | | heightFactor | number | 0 | The multiplication offset every bar should be increased with | | minimumHeight | number | 0 | The minimum height for every bar. Overrides heightFactor |

Usage

import React from 'react';
import ReactDOM from 'react-dom';
import Slider, { Range } from 'rc-slider';
// We can just import Slider or Range to reduce bundle size
// import Slider from 'rc-slider/lib/Slider';
// import Range from 'rc-slider/lib/Range';
import 'rc-slider/assets/index.css';

API

createSliderWithTooltip(Slider | Range) => React.Component

An extension to make Slider or Range support Tooltip on handle.

const Slider = require('rc-slider');
const createSliderWithTooltip = Slider.createSliderWithTooltip;
const Range = createSliderWithTooltip(Slider.Range);

Online demo

After Range or Slider was wrapped by createSliderWithTooltip, it will have the following props:

| Name | Type | Default | Description | | ------------ | ------- | ------- | ----------- | | tipFormatter | (value: number): React.ReactNode | value => value | A function to format tooltip's overlay | | tipProps | Object | { placement: 'top', prefixCls: 'rc-slider-tooltip', overlay: tipFormatter(value) } | A function to format tooltip's overlay |

Common API

The following APIs are shared by Slider and Range.

| Name | Type | Default | Description | | ------------ | ------- | ------- | ----------- | | className | string | '' | Additional CSS class for the root DOM node | | min | number | 0 | The minimum value of the slider | | max | number | 100 | The maximum value of the slider | | marks | {number: string} or{number: { style, label }} | {} | Marks on the slider. The key determines the position, and the value determines what will show. If you want to set the style of a specific mark point, the value should be an object which contains style and label properties. | | step | number or null | 1 | Value to be added or subtracted on each step the slider makes. Must be greater than zero, and max - min should be evenly divisible by the step value. When marks is not an empty object, step can be set to null, to make marks as steps. | | vertical | boolean | false | If vertical is true, the slider will be vertical. | | handle | (props) => React.ReactNode | | A handle generator which could be used to customized handle. | | included | boolean | true | If the value is true, it means a continuous value interval, otherwise, it is a independent value. | | disabled | boolean | false | If true, handles can't be moved. | | dots | boolean | false | When the step value is greater than 1, you can set the dots to true if you want to render the slider with dots. | | onBeforeChange | Function | NOOP | onBeforeChange will be triggered when ontouchstart or onmousedown is triggered. | | onChange | Function | NOOP | onChange will be triggered while the value of Slider changing. | | onAfterChange | Function | NOOP | onAfterChange will be triggered when ontouchend or onmouseup is triggered. | | minimumTrackStyle | Object | | please use trackStyle instead. (only used for slider, just for compatibility , will be deprecate at [email protected] ) | | maximumTrackStyle | Object | | please use railStyle instead (only used for slider, just for compatibility , will be deprecate at [email protected]) | | handleStyle | Array[Object] | Object | [{}] | The style used for handle.
