What is it

Home automation is a thermostat application which supports json settings input (desiredTemp, currentTemp, range, unit). with those settings the thermostat can control cooling and heating by returning a json with states whether or not the cooling or the heating should be activated.

Since version 0.5.0 we also allow the input of current temp from a network location.

How do you install it

You can install the package with npm by typing tho command: npm install @jarnothierens/home-automation, this doesn't work currently because of an unknown problem. I install it with npm install C:\Users\jarno\Desktop\test\home-automation-JarnoTh for this example.

How do you use it

After installation you must import the App from @jarnothierens/home-automation. following this we need to declare our settings, feel free to use the unit you want. we need to load in our App(), and give our settings to the App as seen in the example below.

When using input from a network location you only need to declare your desired temperature your range and the unit of your desired temperature this next to the network location (url). The first output in the example below only uses settings, the second uses data from the network location.
