Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Overview

This pre-built is build for Semver versions. It supplies worflows to bump the version, validate the version and/or check if the version lies in a given range.

    • ^2022.1.x

This pre-built is build for Semver versions. It supplies worflows to bump the version, validate the version and/or check if the version lies in a given range.

The main benefits and features of the Pre-Built are outlined below.

  • semver_validator workflow: Validate any Semver version. The workflow gives boolean output.

  • version_bump workflow: Supply a version and bump type (major, minor, patch). the workflow gives the new version as output.

  • semver_range_check: This workflow can be used when user needs to check for a version in given range. Currently it supports these types of ranges - eg. (~1.2.3 or ^1.2.3 or 1.2.3-2.0.0 or 1.x). Workflow gives a boolean output.

How to Install

To install the Pre-Built:

  • Verify you are running a supported version of the Itential Automation Platform (IAP) as listed above in the Requirements section in order to install the Pre-Built.
  • The Pre-Built can be installed from within App-Admin_Essential. Simply search for the name of your desired Pre-Built and click the install button (as shown below).
