Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

exprql - Expression Query Language

Installing

follow rustup.rs if you do not have rustup installed

cargo install wasm-pack pest-language-server

dependencies will be installed when you build for a target, since they differ per-target

Currently only WASM build is tested and configured, the crate should technically work as a lib though.

Cross-compiling for Linux

on macos, do this brew tap SergioBenitez/osxct brew install x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu rustup target add x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

add this to ~/.cargo/config.toml

[target.x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu]
linker = "/opt/homebrew/bin/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc"

then to compile cargo build --target x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

Compiling for WASM

wasm-pack build --release --target bundler --scope inline-studio

Publishing NPM package

Compile for WASM, then navigate to pkg subdirectory

npm publish --access=public
