Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Writer Plugin Utilities

Package with useful commands, scripts, and utilities used by writer plugins which use the Writer Plugin Jumpstart project to get started.

Features

Webpack and Babel configuration

The main export of this package is a webpack configuration which can be used when developing a Writer Plugin.

TypeScript

As a sub feature to webpack and babel this package also comes with typescript support.

Build and Validation Commands

This package exposes some commands which are used when developing a Writer Plugin.

CI Commands

The following commands are used in bitbucket pipelines to upload a built plugin to S3.

Jumpstart Command

The following command will jumpstart development of a new Writer Plugin.

Usage

No commands should really be run on their own, this package is intended to be used by the Writer Plugin Jumpstart project.
