Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

SoundComponent

SoundComponent is a web component based on LitElement that provides a simple interface for playing audio files in a web application.

Installation

To install SoundComponent in your project, use npm:

install @ibrahimjs/sound-component;

Usage

After installing the package, you can use SoundComponent in your project as follows:

Import and Definition

First, make sure to import and define the component:

    { SoundComponent } from '@ibrahimjs/sound-component';

    window.customElements.define('sound-component', SoundComponent);

Using in HTML

Then, you can use the component in your HTML:

<sound-component src="path/to/your/audio/file.mp3"></sound-component>

Playing Audio

To play the audio, you can call the play method of the component:

const soundComponent = document.querySelector("sound-component");

soundComponent.play();
