Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

This plugin let you control RGB Bluetooth-enabled "ELK-BLEDOM" LED light strips, that are compatible with the Lotus Lantern app.

Control On/Off, Hue, Saturation and Brightness.

Prerequisite

You need to have a bluetooth device. Check using hcitool dev command. You may also need root access with Homebridge

To run without root access, go to homebridge terminal and type sudo setcap cap_net_raw+eip $(eval readlink -f `which node`)

Installation

npm i @bjclopes/homebridge-ledstrip-bledom

Configuration

To find your device uuid, use hcitool lescan, grab the device uuid, remove all ':' and use lowercase alpha characters

Contribution

This package is basen on the work of Lylya on the project homebridge-ledstrip-ble. The new configuration parameters are based on the work of user154lt on the project ELK-BLEDOM-Command-Util.
